Latest news releases

LAKE BENTON, Minn. – A detour of Highway 14 west of Lake Benton will begin Aug. 10, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.  Traffic will be routed to Highway 75 and Lincoln County Roads 1 and 13.

Three box culverts will be replaced approximately two to three miles east of the Minnesota/South Dakota state line. Benefits of this project include extending the life of the culverts, providing a smoother road surface and increasing safety.

Midwest Contracting is the contractor for this $2.02 million project which is expected to last through October. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather and other unforeseeable conditions.
