Nighttime closure on eastbound I-84 will take place tonight between Garrity and Ten Mile exits

ITD is closing eastbound I-84 between Garrity and Ten Mile to pour concrete for the SH-16 flyover ramps.

NAMPA — The Idaho Transportation Department will close eastbound Interstate 84 between the Garrity Boulevard Interchange (Exit 38) and the Ten Mile Road Interchange (Exit 42) overnight tonight, Monday, Aug. 17.

The closure is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will allow crews to safely pour concrete for the bridge decks on the flyover ramps for the new interchange at State Highway 16 and Interstate 84.

Traffic will be detoured to Franklin Road. View detour map.

Ongoing nighttime lane restrictions on both eastbound and westbound I-84 will continue through the summer as crews continue construction of the State Highway 16 and I-84 Interchange, which is scheduled to open in 2027.

Text HIGHWAY16 to 1-866-483-8422. For maps and details about the project, visit itd.idaho.gov/project/sh16construction.
