Highway 4 from Hector to Fairfax reopens to traffic (Aug. 28, 2026)

HECTOR, Minn. – Highway 4 between Hector and Fairfax has reopened to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.  Crews completed resurfacing work and replaced multiple culverts along the corridor to improve safety and strengthen infrastructure.

Ulland Brothers, Inc. was the contractor for this $11.3 million project.
