Highway 1 culvert replacement near Angora starts Sept. 8 (Sept. 1, 2026)

DULUTH, Minn. –  The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be replacing a culvert on Highway 1 located 4.1 miles east of the intersection with Highway 53 in Angora. Work is expected to take place September 8-25. Traffic will be limited to a single lane controlled by a portable signal. This culvert was previously damaged by flooding and is need of replacement.
