SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites community members to attend an in-person public meeting on Oct. 13 in Spring Valley to learn more and provide their opinions about a project that will reconstruct Highway 16/63 and make pedestrian facility improvements.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 13
    • 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
    • Spring Valley Ambulance Service Building, 100 Emergency Drive, Spring Valley, MN 66975

Join the project team to learn about the proposed roadway and pedestrian improvements along Hwy 16/Hwy 63 and Hwy 63 (Section Ave.) in Spring Valley, on two distinct segments. Construction is expected to begin in spring of 2030. The meeting is drop-in style, so no formal presentation is planned. People may visit and leave at their convenience.

Those who are unable to attend can find the information shared at the meeting on the project website and provide their feedback to the contact people listed. This information will be posted one week prior to the meeting.
